Snaps, slaps and good times from the land of tinned beetroot and other delights
Hmm, "a leftie mayor" - is it part of that upside-down boat-looking stadium thing at Manukau? Can't find any photos that look like that, so probably not.Part of the Rainbow's End rollercoaster track?
Good attempt but think outside Auckland. I went to the Naki in the weekend.
A Len Lye something? Couldn't find one that looked like it, probably a corner of a bridge or something boring. When we visited New Plymouth in summer it was interesting (having never spent time there) - seems the place floats on a bit of a sea of oil cash..
I'm still clueless. I do reckon it looks more like a piece of infrastructure than a sculpture though. In my defence, I've only been to NP once, about 11 years ago, for work.
Not a Len Lye something but definitely in NP. Additional clue - very recent.
Finally found it:http://bit.ly/9LQKFxandhttp://bit.ly/dBUS0AI have already received a prize in the mail, although it wasn't a winning prize ...
Well done! Go here and find some stats http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Te_Rewa_Rewa_Bridge
